Inspired by: Bodleian Collection: Celtic Manuscripts: folio 97v, MS. Bodl. 264 (fols. 3r-208r) The Romance of Alexander in French verse, with miniatures illustrating legends of Alexander the Great and with marginal scenes of everyday life, by the Flemish illuminator Jehan de Grise and his workshop, 1338-44.

Inspired by: Printer’s mark by unknown master from the shop of Crafft Miller, Strasbourg, 1537.

Inspired by: The badge of the order.  You have your “Reserve” box and your “Sea Chest.” You need a “Treasure” box (and we “owe” you for shooting Emily’s wedding).

Inspired by: The heraldry of his home group, the Canton of Altenberg, that he has stood as Champion for the Barony of North Woods and the event, It Takes My Child to Raze a Village.

Inspired by: Recipient's generosity with his brewing and the fact that just a few days earlier he had mentioned how awesome it would be if he ever received an award and it was a keg.

Inspired by: Germanic-style smocked aprons. Award badge is embroidered on pocket (modern usefulness) and award text borders red trim.

Inspired by: Brewer's aprons. Two identical aprons were made for Battlefield Brewery brewers: Thorfin and  Wolfgar.
